Mindfulness in practice
Mindfulness has become very common place and a useful practice to alleviate stress, anxiety, addictions, weight-loss etc. Studies have found that mindfulness programmes – in which participants are taught mindfulness practices across a series of weeks – can bring about reductions in stress and improvements in mood.
This is a day to start to experience mindfulness and to start a programme which you take away and incorporate in your life and practice. Whether you experience stress in your daily life, or are a coach or hypnotherapist that would like to incorporate this in your practice as a tool to help clients reduce stress, anxiety etc. this day is for you.
The day will be very practical and will cover topics such as:
- Moving from auto-pilot to awareness.
- Mindfulness and meditation whats it all about?
- What's my story?
- The body in mind.
- Let's take a breather.
- An attitude of a kind.
At the end of the day you will have a structure and practical experience to incorporate mindfulness into your life and practice!
