Supervision details
As a hypnotherapy supervisor, I see supervision as an essential part of ethical, effective practice. It supports both high standards of client care and the wellbeing of the practitioner. In line with the Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy supervision requirements, it is a vital part of ongoing professional development.
My approach to supervision is collaborative, supportive and practice-focused. I aim to create a trusting space where supervisees can reflect openly on their work without fear of judgement. This allows for honest discussion, learning and growth, while keeping the focus firmly on client care rather than drifting into counselling or coaching.
Supervision involves thoughtful review, inquiry and reflection, helping practitioners refine their skills, work through challenges and maintain clarity and confidence in their clinical role. It supports ethical decision-making, professional boundaries and sustainable practice.
At its core, supervision exists to protect clients while also supporting the practitioner as a human being. When therapists feel supported and grounded, the quality of their work naturally improves. I see supervision as a shared process that benefits both supervisee and client through ongoing learning, care and professional integrity.
If you have any questions or would like to explore supervision with me, you are very welcome to get in touch.
