John comes from a business background as a company director for an independent electrical wholesaler, and after being in the electrical industry for over 30 years John has a wealth of sales, marketing and commercial astuteness behind him.
John decided to take a change in career after experiencing the power of hypnotherapy first hand and he decided that this would become his new career.
As well as seeing up to 20 Clients a week in private practice at the Halifax Hypnotherapy Clinic, John is also a Senior Lecturer for SFTA (Solution Focused Training Academy in Leeds, Newcastle and Sheffield.
Not only does John bring a wealth of experience to supervision from his solution focused hypnotherapy training, but also a huge amount of experience from his own practice.
John's supervision sessions cover not only client supervision issues and practice issues but also experience in sales, marketing and attracting clients, thus ensuring that all his supervision group are running successful, professional businesses at what ever level they chose to.
John can also offer ad-hoc training to supervisee's if required on all aspects of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, Sales and Marketing, Websites and Digital Marketing, Social Media, Search Engine Optimisation and other Business Matters.
Supervision sessions are run Monthly online and every second month (Saturday Morning) the option to join the group face to face if you wish. (Based at the clinic in Halifax).
The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.
In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.
A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
The Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH) was set up to provide information about a modern form of Hypnotherapy and its associated benefits to members of the public. The main aim of the AfSFH is to spread awareness of the benefits of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. Its secondary aim is to support Hypnotherapists in their businesses by encouraging good practice and self-care.
