About me

Would you like to feel happier or more in control of your life or thoughts?  Using the most up-to-date techniques in neuroscience based therapy, I can help you to achieve your goals. I have established a busy practice over the past nine years, helping clients to make permanent changes by establishing new neurological pathways within the brain, thus replacing old faulty pathways and patterns of behaviour.  This helps clients to be in control of their thoughts, feelings and actions.

Whilst studying for an honours degree in psychology, I became very interested in the way in which the mind creates anxiety and how this can be effectively treated. I therefore decided to continue my studies of the mind by gaining a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychology.

I practise Solution Focused Brief Therapy using the most recent research and techniques. This type of therapy is extremely positive for the client, enabling solid goals to be formulated. I also adopt many of the methods used in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. These therapies allow the client to understand the vital role the mind plays in allowing us to reach our goals. I use hypnosis as a relaxation aid and to reinforce any positive solutions.

As a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapists I adhere to very strict professional guidelines. This also involves taking part in Continual Professional Development, thus allowing me to remain up to date with the latest research techniques in both psychotherapy and hypnotherapy.
