About me

Using Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, I work with you to help change your life.

I work with clients via Skype or Zoom, helping them deal with anxiety, illness and pain management, calm pregnancy and childbirth, panic attacks, weight loss, insomnia and confidence issues to name but a few.  I also enjoy working with clients with negative addictions i.e. smoking/alcohol. I have a good track record working with people in the sports performance arena and currently work with some top athletes.

I'm a very experienced hypnotherapist who loves seeing the positive change in my clients and I've received positive acclaim for my work in the national press.  I set up the Cirencester Hypnotherapy & Health Centre in 2014 so that clients can see my very experienced colleagues in a face to face environment if they do not want online sessions.

I'm a lead lecturer at the Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training schools in Manchester ( and also support the Lecturers at CPHT Belfast too.

I also helped set up the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and was a Trustee and Director for its first four years. I'm now the Association's Chairperson.

Hypnotherapy is a naturally occurring 'trance' that you already enter many times a day! You remain awake and in control. It's a very relaxing and enjoyable experience that engages the subconscious mind, enabling you to make changes that you have been unable to do with your conscious mind.

Please do call me for a chat if you feel I could help you put in place beneficial change.

Training, qualifications & experience

I originally trained at The Clifton Practice, a recognised Centre of Excellence for hypnotherapy. I hold a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy (DHP) and the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD), which is the first nationally accredited hypnotherapy qualification, awarded by the NCFE National Awarding Body and is considered to be the gold standard in hypnotherapy training.   I also undertake regular additional top-up training, such as working with alcohol and drug addiction, child birth, pain management etc.

I'm registered with the Complementary & National Healthcare Council (CNHC), the National Council for Hypnotherapy and the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy.

I'm a Supervisor and Chairperson for the

Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

        * If you have been diagnosed or suspect you may have one of the medical conditions starred above, you should consult your GP for advice, diagnosis and treatment and always inform your health professional before starting any alternative or additional therapies or treatments.

Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

I have worked with numerous clients helping them deal with the symptoms and side-effects of life threatening illnesses and illnesses such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and Fibromyalgia, as well as  helping clients manage their Myalgic Encephalopathy (ME).

Most of my clients come to me with some form of anxiety, from spider or flying phobias through to panic attacks or general anxiety. Anxiety can cause all sorts of side effects such as insomnia and/or negative feelings.  I've seen a growing number of teenagers and youngsters in this area in recent years!
