About me
Rooted in science. Guided by your body.
Integrative and Intuitive Therapy - Felixstowe, Suffolk and online
For resolving anxiety, trauma, weight management, phobias, habits, quitting smoking, physical symptoms and much more.
I'm Katie Furneaux, and at Mind and Body Language, my work is centred on the fact that your body is its own unique eco-system, biologically adapting and evolving and constantly communicating with you - through physical sensations, emotions, patterns of behaviour and symptoms.
By tuning into that communication, we can explore the root cause and purpose of discomfort, distress or dis-ease rather than managing symptoms. Through viewing health through a met-conscious lens, and using a combination of scientifically-backed modalities - including hypnotherapy, NLP, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), past life regression and coaching -I guide you through a process of curiosity and understanding of what is happening in your body. I work with you to regulate your nervous system and bring your body back into balance.
Your body does not make mistakes. It is a dynamic, intelligent system that is constantly adapting, protecting and communicating.
Throughout our sessions together, we focus on creating safety, gaining a deeper understanding, re-connecting back to yourself, rebuilding self-trust and gently releasing what has been holding you back.
Are you listening to the language your mind and body are speaking?
Testimonials
"When I first spoke to Katie about what I was going through I was incredibly sceptical about the process - HOW WRONG was I, she put me at ease straight away, we discussed the week on both a business front as well as home life and how I was feeling about certain things. The hypnotherapy was a game changer for me, so much so, I would really look forward to our Monday morning catch up! If you need someone to talk to, I would not hesitate in suggesting you talk to Katie, she is brilliant and without her I am not sure where I would be today."
"Katie is a very kind and sensitive person. She knows when to use which one of her tools to help her clients in the best way possible. I contacted her to help me heal the relationship I have to my parents. I had worked for years with many different therapy forms before. Thanks to her I managed to completely heal my relation to my difficult father before he passes away. I am extremely thankful for that. As for the relationship to my mother it has improved by a lot. I can now say "no" to her without having a bad conscious. I recommend working with Katie to any one open to different modalities and really wanting a change in their life."
"Katie has a beautiful approach which is very uplifting and powerful. Each time I've walked out of Katie's therapy room I've felt confident and clear on my upcoming objectives. It feels like sitting in the driver's seat and taking control of the destination and enjoying the journey. I would highly recommend booking in with Katie."
"Katie's sessions have really helped unclutter my mind and helped keep me on track with business and personal goals by calming my anxiety and stress. I am now on track with my goals and work is going very well. I am fulfilling my potential. Thank you very much. Katie is very professional, and friendly. I highly recommend anyone to Katie's Hypnotherapy."
"Katie is very professional, calm and has a kind nature. She listens to her clients' needs and advises accordingly. I would definitely recommend attending one of Katie's taster sessions if, like me, you are tentative about hypnotherapy."
"The big shock to me was that losing weight wasn't my real issue — it was getting rid of my food fixation and the guilt that goes with it. No surprise, since then the weight has started to drop off. Hypnotherapy is a journey, and one I'm glad Katie was on with me."

Further information
My journey into this work began 5 years ago with training as a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist at The Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training School. This foundation gave me a deep understanding of the neuroscience behind how the brain works and how we can use a future-focused approach to create meaningful, positive change. I went on to establish my hypnotherapy practice in Midhurst, West Sussex, where I saw just how effective this methodology could be.
As my experience grew, I found myself working with clients carrying deeper trauma, long-standing limiting beliefs, and patterns that continued to hold them back. I felt called to expand my work, undertaking further training in trauma release, resolving stuck emotional states, and shifting ingrained beliefs with James Banfield. I completed specialist training in regression therapy with Steve Burgess, followed by advanced regression techniques. Through this continued learning and hands-on experience, I witnessed profound transformations in my clients, which further shaped the direction of my work.
A significant turning point came when my father was diagnosed with cancer. During this time, I immersed myself in research and connected with cancer specialists, seeking every possible way to support him. This experience profoundly expanded my understanding of health and wellbeing. It shifted my perspective beyond the mind alone, into the deeper connection between our biology, environment, beliefs, values, and sense of purpose.
I began to see more clearly the intelligence within the human body - how it communicates, adapts, and responds. I also recognised how, in today’s world, we are often more connected to external noise than to ourselves. Many of us have lost the ability to truly listen to our bodies - to understand the signals, sensations, and messages that are always there for a reason, guiding us.
Through my father’s illness, and following his passing, my work evolved further with in depth training with Penny Croal, founder of the Meta-consciousness Academy. I felt a deep calling to help others reconnect with their bodies - to understand their symptoms not as problems to suppress, but as meaningful and purposeful communication. My father, David Bagley, was a doctor who dedicated his life to helping others, and his legacy continues to inspire everything I do. Carrying his wisdom with me, I feel more purposeful in this work than ever before.
This is how Mind and Body Language was born.
And this brings me to where i am today. Today, my practice is centred on helping people reconnect with themselves - to listen to their bodies, understand what their symptoms may be communicating, and restore balance by regulating the nervous system. My work supports clients in moving from disconnection to clarity, from overwhelm to calm, and ultimately back to a place of alignment and wellbeing.
