About me
I believe each of us is born to thrive on our own terms and in our own unique way. Sometimes the pressures of life, combined with past experiences, cause us to lose touch with the deep inner resources that make us who we are.
We may experience deep challenges as a result, from anxiety and depression to low self-esteem, unhelpful patterns of thought and behaviour, relationship difficulties and beyond. Sometimes there's just a nagging uncertainty about who we are, what life means and what we truly need.
Ready to reconnect with those inner resources? I can help.
At YouFusion Therapy, I combine deep hypnotherapy expertise with many years' training in person-centred psychotherapy. You can expect an empathetic, creative relationship-of-equals that’s focused on where you are now, and where you want to go, along with an integrated healing approach that’s fully tailored to you.
I look forward to hearing your story and supporting you as you write a fulfilling and meaningful new chapter. Please feel free to contact me with any questions and, when you're ready, arrange a free, no-obligation mini-consultation.
Best wishes,
Jim

My approach to hypnotherapy
I use hypnosis to intensify and embed psychotherapeutic insight and healing. This in turn enhances the potential for deep, long-term change.
Hypnotherapy uses relaxation, attentional focus and imagination to engage the extraordinary resources of your unconscious mind – allowing you to heal, learn and grow.
Through hypnosis, we can explore the unconscious for deeper insight into what’s really going on for you. It also works the other way, allowing us to “re-seed” the unconscious with ideas, beliefs, feelings and “habits of thought” that can help you thrive in waking life. In hypnosis, we can imagine new ways of being so vividly that they take root within us and feed into our day-to-day thoughts and actions.
