Our work is completely confidential and I work online at times to suit you, giving you the flexibility to fit our sessions into your schedule.
Clients often ask how many sessions of hypnotherapy are required. The honest answer is, it depends. For many problems, just two or three focussed sessions will help achieve noticeable change, others many required five to six. Some clients choose to have a number of sessions, take a break to put into practise the skills they have learnt and then return for a 'top-up.' But everyone is different and in your initial consultation we will discuss your goals and agree a treatment plan.
My aim is to work collaboratively and supportively with you, using scientific, evidenced based cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy approaches to help you address the issues and barriers you are experiencing and achieve your goals. Research suggests that combining hypnotherapy and cognitive behavioural therapy achieves better outcomes for clients and this Hypno-CBT™️approach has been pioneered by the UK College of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy where I did my training. I also draw on mindfulness and problem solving techniques to take an holistic approach in helping you achieve the changes you want.
As someone who had a long leadership and management career before working as a therapist, I particularly enjoy helping clients overcome career challenges and work-related issues. I have worked with clients at all levels to overcome anxiety and burnout, cope with redundancy, conquer their fear of public speaking or even change careers.
As a trail runner and climber, I also love working with people to help them achieve sporting goals.
And for busy professionals I offer a bespoke tactical peak performance pathway programme to help recover and maintain performance, particularly if burnout is starting to become or is an issue for them.

Training, qualifications & experience
I have a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) from the UK College of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy. I am also a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner (NLP) and did my first training twenty years ago with Dr Richard Bandler, one of the founders of NLP, and Paul McKenna, perhaps the world's leading experts on using NLP to help you overcome the things that are holding you back. Having experienced stress, anxiety, burnout and been a lifelong recovering perfectionist, I discovered how CBH and NLP can change your life. You can too.
