About me
People heal when they feel safe.
If anxiety, panic or overthinking is affecting your sleep, confidence, work, school or everyday life, you may feel as though your logical mind understands that you are safe, but your body continues to react. You are not alone.
I’m Gina P. Ross, a clinical hypnotherapist specialising in anxiety-related difficulties. I support adults and teenagers experiencing panic attacks, health anxiety, persistent worry, low confidence, fear of flying, public-speaking anxiety, phobias and sleep difficulties.
My approach is warm, practical and completely tailored to you. I do not use a one-size-fits-all script. Alongside clinical hypnotherapy, I may draw on NLP and DBT-informed emotional-regulation skills to help you feel calmer, understand the patterns keeping the anxiety going and begin responding differently.
Sessions may include practical techniques and a personalised recording to use between appointments.
I offer sessions in a calm, private setting in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, as well as online sessions throughout the UK and internationally.
Many people feel uncertain before contacting a therapist, so I offer a complimentary 20-minute introductory call. You can explain what has been happening, ask questions and decide whether working together feels right, with no pressure or obligation.
People often tell me that they feel safe, understood and more hopeful after our first conversation.
Previously known as Rickmansworth Hypnotherapy.

Member organisations
The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy. In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers. A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
The National Council for Hypnotherapy holds one of the largest registers of independent Hypnotherapists in the United Kingdom and strives to maintain the highest standards among its members. There is an agreed Code of Conduct, an established Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure and all members are obliged to maintain comprehensive Public Liability & Professional Indemnity Insurance, maintain regular CPD (continuing professional development) hours, and attend Supervision when needed.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with
info Information about health conditions (*)
Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.
Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with
I work with adults, teenagers and children experiencing anxiety, stress, panic attacks, low confidence and phobias.
Many clients come to hypnotherapy when they feel stuck in patterns such as overthinking, poor sleep, unwanted habits or feeling overwhelmed.
My approach combines clinical hypnotherapy, mindfulness and NLP techniques to calm the nervous system and help the mind respond differently to challenges.
Sessions are practical, supportive and focused on helping you feel calmer, more confident and back in control.
