I’m Gareth Amos, a fully qualified Hypnotherapist. I’ve helped many people overcome anxiety, regain confidence, and move forward with clarity and calm through the powerful, evidence-based practice of hypnotherapy.
My approach is grounded in neuroscience: an evidence-based approach that taps into the subconscious mind to shift limiting beliefs, break unwanted patterns, and support positive change.
Whether you’re dealing with stress, fear, unwanted habits, or emotional challenges, I work with you to understand the root cause and guide you towards lasting change.

Member organisations
The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.
In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.
A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
The National Council for Hypnotherapy holds one of the largest registers of independent Hypnotherapists in the United Kingdom and strives to maintain the highest standards among its members. There is an agreed Code of Conduct, an established Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure and all members are obliged to maintain comprehensive Public Liability & Professional Indemnity Insurance, maintain regular CPD (continuing professional development) hours, and attend Supervision when needed.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

I hold a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and am a registered member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), adhering to their code of ethics and standards of practice. This ensures that you receive professional and ethical care throughout your journey with me.
In addition to hypnotherapy, I bring a broad and trusted background in health and wellbeing. I hold a Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Clinical Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation, and I am also an award-winning VTCT Level 5 Sports Massage Therapist, trained in:

I am a qualified UK Athletics- Athletics Coach and have a deep passion for running and sport, which informs my understanding of both physical and mental resilience. My experience in sports therapy helps me work holistically with clients who may be managing performance anxiety, physical recovery, or mental blocks related to sport and activity.
I am also a Reiki Master, and through Allonus Diamond Light, I practise Selenite Healing allowing me to offer clients a broader, more personalised approach when appropriate.
