About me
Since setting up my hypnotherapy practice a few years ago, one thing that has really stood out to me is just how many people are living with hidden anxieties every single day. These anxieties hold them back, leave their lives fuelled by fear and panic, and begin to influence so much of what they do. One of the things I hear most often is how lonely this can feel, because so many people believe they're the only ones experiencing it.
The reality is that anxiety can affect many different areas of your life. One area I particularly enjoy working with is travel anxiety, as it can present itself in so many different ways. It might be a fear of driving on motorways, a fear of being somewhere and becoming unwell, or getting a bad tummy as soon as your journey begins. For others, it can be an overwhelming sense of panic about getting on a plane, whether that's because of a fear of flying or the thought of being in a crowded space with no escape. Very often, people don't even know when or why these feelings first started, but that doesn't matter when it comes to the work we can do together.
The beauty of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is that we don't need to know why the anxiety began because we don't work in the past. Instead, we focus on how you can move forwards in the present and towards the future. Grounded in neuroscience, this approach has helped many people regain the sense of control they have been searching for.
Change doesn't have to feel stressful. It can be enjoyable, exciting and incredibly rewarding, which is exactly how I aim to work with my clients. Together, we'll work on changing your mindset through positive, forward-focused conversations. Every session also includes a period of relaxing hypnosis, where you'll feel calm, comfortable and completely in control – no pocket watches or Derren Brown here!
What matters most to me is helping people move forwards in their lives in a way that feels natural and motivating. I want you to feel at ease in every session with me so that you can find your own way forwards in a way that feels right for you.
If you've reached a point in your life where you no longer want anxiety to rule what you do, pop me an email and we can chat about your next step – booking a free initial consultation.

Emma is very easy to speak with when explaining what help I required, making me feel comfortable and in good hands.
She explains everything very well, which helps to understand why the brain works in ways which aren’t always helpful for the modern world.
Emma has really helped me, and I’m so glad I have had the sessions with her - Google Review
Seeing Emma after struggling with anxiety caused by work stress and a breakup has been one of the best things I could've done for myself. Emma was so unbelievably calming from start to finish and helped me get into positive habits such as writing my what's been good journal.
Going into this I didn't think I'd improve this much this quickly but having someone to talk about what's been good about my week has really been so helpful. I cannot thank her enough for her help and support throughout the weeks - Google Review
