About me

I’m a Clinical Hypnotherapist based in Leicester, and I specialise in helping people manage anxiety, stress, low confidence, and unhelpful habits through gentle, evidence‑based hypnotherapy. At With Therapy in Mind, I offer a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, feel safe, and begin to make meaningful, lasting changes.

My background in psychology and education shapes the way I work. I use modern hypnotherapy techniques alongside a warm, person‑centred approach, tailoring each session to your needs so you can reconnect with your inner resources and move forward with clarity and confidence.

I support clients across Leicester and the surrounding areas, and I also offer online hypnotherapy sessions for those who prefer to work from home. Whether you’re looking for help with anxiety, stress relief, confidence building, or breaking old patterns, I’m here to guide you at a pace that feels right for you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I’m a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Life Coach, trained to diploma level, with a Master's degree in Psychology awarded with distinction. Alongside my therapeutic work, I continue to teach part‑time after more than 11 years as a primary school teacher, having completed my PGCE early in my career. Staying connected to the classroom keeps me grounded in real‑world experience and gives me a deep understanding of how stress, anxiety, confidence, and behaviour show up in everyday life. This blend of academic training, therapeutic expertise, and ongoing hands‑on work with children and families shapes the calm, compassionate, and practical approach I bring to every session.

GHR
The General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR)

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC). Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level. All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
