Ready to get started?

When you’re ready for change, you can feel safe and reassured that I can help you make the changes you need to feel better without analysing painful memories or past problems. We’ll be focusing on your future and helping you formulate plans and best hopes for how you’d like to move forward with life.

At your first session, the full initial consultation and assessment, I’ll explain how the process works and what happens during hypnosis answering all your questions. We’ll also explore how the mind works in relation to your issues, including your thought processes which will leave you with a greater understanding of ‘why we do the things we do’. You’ll also receive a free hypnotic relaxation download to listen to at home, which sets the wheels in motion.

In subsequent sessions, hypnosis is used as an opportunity for your mind to relax and reflect on the ideas and solutions discussed during our session to understand how they can help you. It’s a normal, natural state that we all experience to varying degrees every day and you always remain in control. In this relaxed state, your mind is more responsive to suggestions, which are designed to be to help you change unhelpful thought patterns.

Further information

What is Solution Focused Hypnotherapy?

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a type of ‘talking therapy’, which uses a powerful combination of psychotherapy and hypnosis. It’s a modern psychotherapeutic approach which uses practical, structured, and well-researched strategies to help you make significant, positive changes in a relatively short period of time.

Each therapy session begins with a period of psychotherapy, designed to encourage you to think positively. We also look at how the brain works so you can understand why you feel the way we do and what you can do about it. This is then followed by hypnosis to consolidate that positively.

Rather than dwelling on past problems or the reasons why you are feeling a certain way, we’ll focus on what you want to achieve by encouraging you to think about how you want things to be. Once you have an idea of your realistic goals, your subconscious will help you find ways to make that future a reality.

What Clients Say: (For more visit

"Following a diagnosis of a rare form of Colitis and a family bereavement, I felt sure that whilst I was suffering from a medical condition I could reduce the symptoms if I reduced the stress in my life".

At our first meeting Andrew explained that the therapy focuses on looking forward rather than going over past events. I learnt to understand that the past cannot be altered and by how looking at the positives and not the negatives in life, we can impact the present and therefore our future.

Every week we spoke about what had been positive, and what I wanted from the next week. This also included working to relax and clear the stress from my mind at the end of each day, and overnight, helped by a relaxation track which he gave me. I found after some time that whenever I started to feel like I was getting concerned about anything and therefore felt my stress levels rising I could take control and calm myself.

Whilst I have a medical condition, I definitely feel that Andrew has helped me learn to control it, I’ve learnt to control my life once more and I feel a lot more confident about the future".
