About me
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. Stress, anxiety, low confidence, unhealthy habits, or pressure at work can leave you feeling stuck, exhausted, or disconnected from yourself. You don’t have to navigate that alone.
I’m Amanda, a qualified hypnotherapist offering a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard and understood. My approach is personalised to you, recognising that there is no one-size-fits-all solution to making positive change.
I work with adults experiencing issues such as stress and anxiety, confidence and self-esteem difficulties, work-related pressure and burnout, lifestyle and healthy living goals, performance concerns, and exam, interview or public-speaking anxiety. Hypnotherapy can be a powerful way of accessing the patterns, thoughts and beliefs that may be holding you back, helping you develop greater calm, confidence and control.
My background in education and wellbeing has given me many years of experience supporting people through periods of challenge and change. I bring that experience, alongside my therapeutic training, into my work with every client.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, lacking confidence, struggling with a particular issue, or simply know that you want something to change, our sessions provide a safe space to explore what is happening and work towards where you want to be.
Your journey is unique, and change begins with that first step.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a BA (Hons) in Psychology with Sociology and a PGCE in Primary Education, alongside extensive professional experience in education, wellbeing, and supporting people through periods of challenge and change.
My further training includes a Diploma in Therapeutic Groupwork, Level 3 qualifications in Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills, Mental Health First Aid training, and the National Professional Qualification (NPQ) in Behaviour and Culture.
My combination of psychological knowledge, therapeutic training and many years of experience working with people allows me to take a thoughtful, person-centred approach to my work. I believe in creating a safe, supportive and non-judgemental environment where clients can explore what is happening for them and work towards meaningful, lasting change.
