One small change = one huge emotional response

What if changing the way a client represents a problem could change the way they experience it? Discover the power of NLP sub-modalities. Join us for an inclusive, engaging, practical workshop designed specifically for our group support day.

Many emotional responses are influenced by the way experiences are internally represented. By learning how to identify and change these sub-modalities, you can help clients alter the intensity of unwanted emotions, strengthen positive resources and accelerate therapeutic change.

Past examples of issues include, but are not limited to: anxiety, anger, fear, guilt, PTSD, relationship issues and much more.

During this hands-on workshop, you’ll discover:

  • how sub-modalities influence thoughts, emotions and behaviour
  • practical techniques you can use immediately in your hypnotherapy sessions
  • ways to reduce the emotional impact of unwanted memories
  • methods for increasing motivation and strengthening desired outcomes
  • live demonstration with John and supervised practical exercises

Whether you already use NLP techniques or are completely new to sub-modalities, you’ll leave with practical skills that can enhance your therapeutic toolkit and increase your confidence when working with clients. You can expand your skills, increase your effectiveness and give your clients another powerful route to change.

This is a ready-to-use method. If you’re looking for practical techniques that can make your sessions more effective while adding value to your existing hypnotherapy approach, this workshop is for you.

Included will be all the days' working material, and you will receive a PDF copy of my Hypnotherapist's Sub-Mods Training Manual at no extra charge. The manual retails at £55.

All hypnotherapists are welcome to join our community support event. This event is not limited only to those who trained with me. Students and certified hypnotherapists from any training provider are very welcome.

As well as having the opportunity to seek guidance on any client issues or concerns, we can also:

  • share news and success stories with clients
  • share new approaches to developing our practice
  • ask what the most effective way is to attract new business
  • how to sell programmes rather than single sessions
  • share any new skills you have learned
  • ideas for workshops
  • form collaborations

Book early for our 2 hours of interesting developments, followed by our group supervision/support session in the afternoon. Our morning subject is included free to all who book and pay for the full day. If you decide you can only attend the morning, that is allowed, provided you pay for the full day.

The benefits of a community of like-minded people are invaluable. Never underestimate the value of talking to others. If you cannot attend the full day, feel free to depart in line with your timetable, but tell me on booking.

Thinking about supervision or support?

When you think of attending a supervision-group peer support, what are your initial thoughts? Are you going to attend only because it is a requirement of your registration membership?

Let me give my take on one very important benefit. You build a network of contacts with like-minded people willing to share. People you can call for advice. People you can meet for coffee and chat. Arrange referrals both ways. You might not like working with trauma and enjoy phobias as an example. There may be another therapist with the opposite likes and dislikes.

Exchange contact details. Build social media contact groups. Meet specialists on specific issues. Gain advice on choosing a speciality. Pick up marketing ideas. Discover others have similar issues or thoughts.

We work in an insular environment, only meeting clients and helping them resolve their issues. Networking allows you to meet others in the same situation, and let’s face it, it is good to talk.

My group support events help provide this. I desire to provide a safe place for you to ask questions, perhaps on a difficult client issue. A place where you can talk freely without fear of criticism. Where you can perhaps help others by sharing your knowledge.

In line with the GHR criteria for membership, newly qualified hypnotherapists are required to attend four supervision sessions or peer support events annually during their first two years of practice, plus complete 25 hours of CPD annually. Our supervision-peer support events are an excellent way to further build your confidence, skills and meet with fellow hypnotherapists, building a network of contacts.

My group peer support events align with the membership criteria of the General Hypnotherapy Register and the GHSc. Attendance confirmation and receipts are issued in PDF format after the event.

In addition to sharing information and ideas, you can receive advice and support on all things hypnotic. If you have a question and would prefer to be anonymous, then send it to me. I will raise it at the event. No names divulged. Requests to present on a topic must be agreed upon and content approved with me prior to the event date. The morning inclusive content could be subject to change without notice.
