Goal modelling; how to effectively motivate your clients
Goal modelling is a new and exciting way of gathering information and planning therapy developed from work done on change management at Cranfield University.
It's fun and interactive, keeping your client on track and collecting relevant information, whilst avoiding the dangers of getting bogged down in extraneous information.
It makes links and connections between the client's therapeutic goal and other areas of their lives to help you keep them on track and motivated, and predict potential sticking points.
It's adaptable to changes in the client's life.
It identifies the best information to use in your sessions, e.g. when future pacing.
It can be used by anyone who helps people set and reach personal goals.
