You already know how to help clients move forward. But some people keep looping – same pattern, same block, same return visit – and present-focused work alone isn’t enough.

This one-day course gives you three practical techniques you can use the next day in clinic: regression to cause and inner child work, parts therapy, and the clearance technique. Together they form a complete day of learning, demonstration, and hands-on practice.

Imagine being able to help your clients:

  • Break free from recurring negative patterns: When a client is stuck despite good work in the present, regression to cause helps you find and resolve the root that keeps pulling them back.
  • Resolve internal conflicts that sabotage progress: Parts therapy gives you a clear way to work with the inner struggle – the part that wants change and the part that won’t let it happen – so lasting change becomes possible.
  • Heal the emotional wounds that drive current behaviours: Inner child work lets clients meet unmet needs with compassion, reducing the emotional charge that fuels today’s symptoms.
  • Clear what’s left so change sticks: The clearance technique helps release residual thought patterns and emotional blocks after the deeper work, so clients leave freer to move forward.
  • Work with more confidence on complex cases: Expand your toolkit with techniques that give you a clearer read on what’s really holding a client, and interventions that match that depth.

What you’ll learn in one full day

  • Regression to cause and inner child: Master ethical, practical regression to find the origin of a problem, then use inner child work to heal what still drives the present.
  • Parts therapy: Learn how to identify conflicting parts, facilitate resolution, and help clients align conscious goals with subconscious drives.
  • The clearance technique: A structured process for clearing leftover negative thought patterns and emotional blocks so the day’s deeper work can land and hold.

My training approach is a little different. I believe that learning should be an enjoyable and enriching experience, so I’ve created a unique learning environment that’s both supportive and stimulating.

I draw on my diverse background as a multi-disciplinary therapist to provide a rich and varied learning journey. In my courses, you’ll find a blend of expert instruction, hands-on practice, and a collaborative atmosphere that fosters genuine learning and growth. I aim to make sure my courses are fun and friendly, and that my trainees know they have my full support.

About your tutor: Dante Harker

Dante is an NCH-registered clinical hypnotherapist with over 25 years across counselling, hypnosis, NLP, EFT, parts therapy, coaching, and psychosexual work. He still runs a private practice – working with clients on anxiety, identity, relationships, and the stuck patterns that sit underneath and he supervises other therapists, so he knows where practitioners get caught as well as where clients do.

With Clem and Margaret Turner, he founded Gold Leaf Training to teach the techniques he actually uses in the room. Delegates often say his days feel more like a proper workshop than a lecture: practical, energetic, and with room for humour. Regression, parts work, and clearance are tools he reaches for when present-focused work alone isn’t enough – and that’s what this course is built around.

Away from clinic and CPD, Dante has travelled to 90 countries, worked as a diving instructor, and opens his garden for charity. That wider life is part of how he teaches: curious, grounded, and less interested in theory for its own sake than in what helps a real client move.
