When you know you want to change a habit or do something different, you need to do 3 important things:
1. Find out where you are right now:
Your Current Co-ordinates
2. Next you need to pinpoint what you've been putting up with in all areas of your life:
3. Then you can move to putting the steps in place:
Well Formed Outcomes.
Find your Current Co-ordinates
What do I want and have in my life ?
What do I want and don't have ?
What do i have and don't want ?
List them all.
Brainstorm a list of everything you've been putting up with...don't analyse it ..just write whatever comes into your head.
It could be..
Your own behaviour
Other people's behaviour
Habits you want to stop
habits you want to start
Things you haven't done
The way you feel
The way you look
Where and how you live
Most people have around 50 items when they first do this.
Well Formed Outcome
Ask yourself in relation to your goal:
What do I want ?
How will I recognise when I have this ?
When and where do I want this resource ?
What resources do I need to achieve this ?
What do I need to do this ?
Is this something I can achieve myself?
What are the advantages of making this change ?
What are the disadvantages ?
What's important to me about getting this ?
What will this outcome help you avoid feeling ?
what is the benefit of this outcome ?
