Supervision details
I am a GHR and ACCPH approved supervisor and provide mentoring and supervision both face to face and online, with practitioners from across the world. I am a certified face to face trainer and online tutor for two multi-award winning international training companies and my private clinic is also award winning. With over 20 years' experience working within the field of psychological and emotional well-being, my unique and specialist approach combines my level of experience and qualifications in psychology and counselling, cognitive behavioural theory, supervision, coaching, mentoring, motivational interviewing, behavioural change and solution focused techniques. I train and support practitioners and clients with a range of modalities, including Hypnotherapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming, Emotional Freedom Technique and Life Coaching. I am committed to ensuring high standards of care and that all work within the field is conducted with professionalism and integrity as per the General Hypnotherapy Register's appropriate standards and code of conduct. As a clinical supervisor, I support practitioners in all aspects of development by providing practice supervision, personal and business coaching and business mentoring. I will support and encourage you to help increase both your confidence and competence, whilst maintaining the upmost respect for your own training, experience, individual expertise and approach. The overall aim is to support you in working individually or in groups with your clients, whilst helping you to develop your private practice and business as a whole. I currently facilitate very popular, reasonable cost, high value supervision groups, which involve monthly zoom meetings and supportive WhatsApp groups. Please contact me for further information.
Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).
Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.
All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
