Supervision details

Professional supervision is an important part of your work as a Hypnotherapist or Coach.

We spend a lot of time working with clients who are vulnerable, unhappy, suffering with stress and anxiety, who are depressed and traumatised. We listen and support, offer guidance, intervention and therapy.

Supervision allows you to discuss client issues and therapy, whilst maintaining your client’s confidentiality. It enables you to process your thoughts and feelings in a safe space, and get a second opinion on the work you are doing with your clients; brainstorming ideas and drawing on my 25+ years’ of experience of working in this field. Supervision also enables you to meet your organisational, professional and personal objectives as well as fulfilling CPD requirements and offering you continued support and the opportunity for development.

I offer 1-1 supervision and Group supervision:

Standard 1-1 Supervision* – clinical supervision and support of your client work

Supervision 1-1 and business development* - Having run my business for over 26 years’ I have a wealth of experience in running a successful practice that has been my sole income to support myself and my family as a single parent. I have invested time and money in my professional and personal development and this option gives you the opportunity to draw upon my knowledge, experience and good practice in building your own business successfully and ethically, in addition to providing clinical supervision and support of your client work.

Group Supervision  - Monthly online

Many supervisees have said that this has helped them to feel a reduced sense of isolation from working alone.

-A small group to ensure participation, and sharing of knowledge
support with client work, discuss challenges in confidence
-grow your skills, expand your knowledge
-lower stress levels, increase job satisfaction
-draw upon my 25+ years' experience, knowledge and skills as an experienced supervisor and practising Hypnotherapist
-Working within a small group for supervision provides you with a pool of ideas and help; ensures your own wellbeing. as well as accountability and best practice in your work. This is an affordable way for new Hypnotherapists to fulfil their professional organisations' supervision criteria.

*All options include access to my private confidential online community to that you can ask for support, ask questions and ask for ideas in between your one to one sessions with me.

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC). Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level. All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
