About me

At Flourish Hypnotherapy Cheshire I work in harmony with you to provide positive solutions to address your needs and reach your goals effectively. I use cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy to release unhelpful, outdated beliefs you may hold about yourself and the world around you. This is a gentle, natural, drug free approach which can create a wonderful effect of positive change.

The sessions are a safe space where you are able to relax and discover tools which will help you cope much more effectively with the issues you are facing.  I specialise in anxiety, stress, imposter syndrome and burnout, please contact me to discuss your individual needs.

Many clients tell me that the sessions are the most relaxed they've ever felt.

I can also work remotely with you (it's just as effective) or in person in my comfortable space in Haslington, Cheshire.

Call or message to arrange an initial free telephone consultation.

What happens in a hypnotherapy session?

All sessions are completely confidential.  You don't have to lie down and I won't be swinging a pocket watch in front of you!  You will be seated comfortably in a chair with your feet on the floor and you will be aware of everything that takes place.  You might feel a little sleepy and very relaxed.  You will be able to ask as many questions as you like before and after each session and you receive recordings and other tools to help you carry on the good work in between sessions.

How can hypnotherapy help me?

Hypnotherapy can help by accessing the subconscious mind in order to allow you to become more able to accept and adapt to new ideas, suggestions and ways of behaving which in turn leads to positive changes in the way you think, behave and feel.  In the first session with me you will set your own goals for positive change, which we will focus on in order to bring about a healthier attitude, thought process and way of behaving.  Many clients tell me they can begin to see the effects after just one session, but results can vary and a number of sessions are recommended in order to embed the positive changes.  This is why I work with clients on a block booking basis of 4 sessions initially.

Just a few comments from clients (you can read more on my website or on Google)

"I always feel so relaxed and comfortable when in Vicki's presence. Her hypnotherapy sessions worked brilliantly for my anxiety. Vicki has a very calming personality which makes you feel at ease..."

"Just want to say that Vicki and her techniques have helped so much!  I lost a job I loved during lockdown which turned my world upside down and she helped me refocus and totally believe that I could find something with purpose, which I did!  The stuff she taught me kept me afloat at a time when I was overwhelmed with stress, anxiety and lack of sleep"

Training, qualifications & experience

I'm Vicki Hawtin DipCBH, GQHP, BEd (Hons), HND and I'm an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist, registered with the General Hypnotherapy Council and The General Hypnotherapy Register. I trained with the UK College of Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy, based in Harley Street, London.

I have been running my own home based practice for over 4 years and have worked with clients on many diverse issues. I have also worked with multi-national companies and educational establishments on running well-being days for their employees, tackling stress, anxiety and burnout, with great success. (Read some of my reviews on my website and on Google).

I specialise in helping professionals, business owners, and high achievers who are struggling with burnout, anxiety, stress, and overwhelm to regain a sense of calm, clarity, and control. Many of my clients come to me feeling mentally exhausted, constantly under pressure, and disconnected from the balance and fulfilment they once enjoyed. Through a personalised approach combining hypnotherapy and evidence-based therapeutic techniques, I help clients quiet an overactive mind, break free from unhelpful patterns, build resilience, and respond to challenges with greater confidence and ease. My goal is not just to reduce symptoms, but to help you create lasting positive change, so you can feel more energised, focused, and able to thrive both personally and professionally.

I am also a qualified Special Education Needs Teacher, with over twenty years of experience working with children and their families. This experience has helped me to understand many of the pressures and strains of working life and family life on relationships and the individual. Finding the balance to achieve optimum well-being is something many of us struggle with and I can support you with the tools you need to do this effectively.
