About me
Taking the first step in seeking therapy is a powerful move towards change. We may look for a therapist for any number of reasons – from struggles with sleep, relationships, family, and work overload to managing imposter syndrome, phobias, or simply feeling out of sorts without an obvious reason. Whatever the cause, everyone deserves to look forward to a positive future.
I’m a fully qualified psychotherapist and hypnotherapist, specialising in solution-focused therapy. Together, we’ll work on rewiring thought patterns, breaking negative loops, and building new neural pathways to help shift your perspective in a constructive way.
In our sessions, you remain the expert on yourself. My role is to support and empower you as you create manageable weekly goals to build confidence, calmness, and control over your life.
Choosing a therapist who feels right is essential, which is why I offer a free 1-hour initial consultation. This session allows us to discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, what you can expect from our work together, and to understand how the brain’s responses to stress and pressure impact your wellbeing.
The first part of a session is talking therapy where we focus on the here and now, not on the past and the second half of the session is hypnosis. By using positive suggestions, your conscious and subconscious work together to help you move forward.
Sessions are available face-to-face at my practice on the Lancing/Shoreham border or online—whichever suits you best. I offer a supportive, non-judgemental space where you can feel comfortable and understood.
Training, qualifications & experience
I’m a trained psychotherapist and hypnotherapist and trained a CPHT in Brighton where I gained a HPD and DFSH.
I also work in partnership with Sussex Police Federation to provide service to their officers and specialise in working with clients with anxiety-related concerns, stress, depression and PTSD along with phobias and fears.
I am DBS checked.
Member organisations

The National Council for Hypnotherapy holds one of the largest registers of independent Hypnotherapists in the United Kingdom and strives to maintain the highest standards among its members.
There is an agreed Code of Conduct, an established Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure and all members are obliged to maintain comprehensive Public Liability & Professional Indemnity Insurance, maintain regular CPD (continuing professional development) hours, and attend Supervision when needed.

The Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH) was set up to provide information about a modern form of Hypnotherapy and its associated benefits to members of the public. The main aim of the AfSFH is to spread awareness of the benefits of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. Its secondary aim is to support Hypnotherapists in their businesses by encouraging good practice and self-care.
