Sue Starr Clinical Hypnotherapist Dip Hyp, DNLP, GQHP, GHRreg
Working for over 20 years for credible fast paced commercial companies has enabled me to gain valuable and essential work and life skills. I started my career initially in account management, working through to managerial roles which also incorporated training, coaching and mentoring the teams I was responsible for.
It was through this time that I developed my expertise and skills in focussing on the enhancement of an individual's performance through facilitating small changes in behaviours and habits.
Now being qualified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist for the last 4 years, these past skills and experiences coupled with the quality delivery of Hypnotherapy techniques, can make powerful and lasting change. Having conducted over 2000 sessions through these 4 years has helped me to focus in key areas where my expertise can help my clients achieve their goals.
Clients come to me with a range of conditions and concerns that can be as diverse as weight-loss, addictions and anxiety through to nail biting, phobias and public speaking. Using a range of different tools and techniques we can help bring real and positive change to the day to day function of ordinary people.
Recent client recommendation has been high, with new clients being introduced to me through previous client experience as well as strong relationships with my local GP clinics, dentist surgeries and school support networks.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

"By complete chance I came across Sue and hypnotherapy. I waspart way through my assessment preparation to become a Chartered Surveyor. I have always suffered from exam stress and worry throughoutmy career development and this time was no different. In my first session I didn’t know what to expect but Sue’s kindand friendly nature puts your mind at ease. Through hypnotherapy Sue helped meto improve my self-confidence and anxiety as well as teaching me techniques tohelp control nerves on the day of assessment.
In addition to hypnotherapy I found it hugely beneficial tohave someone to talk too, who really understood what I was going through andwho supported me all the way.
I am thrilled to be able to say I PASSED and I cannotexpress enough how Sue and hypnotherapy have helped me to achieve my goal. Iwould not hesitate to recommend Sue and hypnotherapy. If in doubt give it a trybecause if you don’t you will never know what a difference it can make! Thank you Sue you truly are a ‘Star’ "LC Xx Nov 2014

"...we waited and waited for the 'system' to help us, but family life was unrecognisable, as was my son, and we were pointed in Sue's direction by our friend and school nurse. Therapy for a younger child is hard to find - so many people focus on teens and adults - I would whole-heartedly recommend seeing Sue with any concerns you may have" PP Jun 2014
