About me

Hi, I’m Nicky, founder of NKM Therapies.

I support women through periods of midlife transition, stress, overwhelm, emotional exhaustion, confidence changes, identity shifts, menopause related challenges, lifestyle changes, and periods of feeling stuck or disconnected from themselves.

Using evidence based approaches including talking therapy, nervous system and somatic tools, relaxation and visualisation techniques, and clinical hypnotherapy, my work is designed to support calmer thinking, emotional clarity, and sustainable change.

With over 30 years of experience across commercial business consultancy and social care settings, alongside 10 years of training in therapeutic support, mindset awareness, nervous system understanding, and guided hypnotherapy, my approach helps people better understand themselves and create calmer, steadier, and more sustainable ways of moving forward.

I understand, what feels manageable to one person may feel overwhelming to another.

I understand that life experiences affect everyone differently.

What feels manageable to one person may feel overwhelming to another, and the same experience does not create the same emotional journey.

My work is designed to feel:

calm
supportive
practical
realistic
non-judgemental
emotionally safe
My aim is to create a supportive space where women feel understood, emotionally safe, and better equipped to navigate stress, change, and everyday life while feeling more like themselves again.
