Teen Stress and Anxiety Specialist | DSFH HPD MNCH CNHC

About me

I specialise in helping teenagers manage stress, anxiety, and pressure so they can feel calm, confident, and able to perform at their best.

With 16 years’ experience teaching psychology, I combine a deep understanding of how the brain learns, remembers, and responds to stress with solution-focused hypnotherapy. My approach helps teenagers develop practical mental skills to stay calm, think clearly, and build lasting confidence — not just for now, but for future challenges too.

Sessions provide a supportive, encouraging space where young people learn how to quiet anxious thoughts, improve focus, and strengthen resilience.

All sessions are held online, with links sent after booking.
In-person appointments in the Bristol and Bath areas are available on request.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a BSc in Psychology and a PGCE in Psychology, alongside specialist training in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy with Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training (CPHT).

I am qualified with the Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH) and the Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma (HPD), recognised as the gold standard in clinical hypnotherapy training.

Further information

My work focuses on giving teenagers practical mental skills they can use immediately.

Sessions combine solution-focused hypnotherapy with simple psychology-based strategies so teenager’s learn how to:

• calm the stress response
• stay calm and focused
• improve recall under pressure
• sleep better
• build lasting confidence in their abilities

Because teenagers understand why these techniques work, they leave with tools they can use throughout school, university, and future challenges.
