About me

Hello,

Welcome to a gentle, solution-focused practice in West Lothian where grief is honoured, not pathologised. For when life has changed shape, and you need somewhere safe to land.

Life is full of transitions - some we are well prepared for, and others that take us by surprise, leaving us reeling for longer than we might imagine. Grief is not just about death, but about those moments where changes that we couldn't foresee happen, such as endings, relationships, work, and retirement, among a few.

Grieving is a deeply personal and challenging experience, often making it hard to understand who you are in the aftermath of loss. Hypnotherapy offers a supportive approach to help realign your mind and navigate the complexities of grief, encouraging gentle exploration and healing in a safe and nurturing environment.

For Leaders:

Life has a tendency to throw a lot at us. When you are in a leadership position with so many people relying on you, it is easy to forget to look after yourself.

Navigating life, both professional and personal, is challenging. You may be here because the foundations of one, perhaps both, have been worn away by a specific loss within your career. In your role, you may have held space for the grief of others while neglecting your own.

The world of work and business has evolved rapidly over the past few years. Finding the time and space to balance the relentless needs of an organisation against your own humanity takes a toll. Living with this unnamed loss can manifest as a quiet unease, deep fatigue, or a sense of fragmentation that makes you feel less capable than before.

No matter your position, you are human. You may have realised that you have lost the thread that leads you back towards life, meaning, and yourself.

The most common misconception is that grief is only about death, but it truly isn't. It is a natural response to love, and to who you used to love being. If you recognise any of this in your own journey, this work is for you.
