About me

As well as seeing clients, in the tranquil setting of the Harvest Clinic,  I am trained in and offer clients online therapy through  webcam sessions.

I Have many years experience of moving clients forward with their lives and empowering them to make positive changes.  One area I specialise in is  Anxiety/Stress conditions including  Panic attacks, Phobias, Performance anxiety and life transitions including Illness diagnosis and Retirement.I have worked with a number of teenagers who were experiencing Exam/ School anxiety.

I am a fully qualified Hypnobirthing Teacher having trained with the KG Hypnobirthing course that is accredited by the Royal College of Midwives. For more info on this wonderful antenatal training ,please see my website.

Other areas I help with are: IBS relief, Pain management, Confidence Building, Headaches, Weight loss and maintenance, Bereavement, menopause and Smoking.

I also teach all my clients a personalised Self-Hypnosis technique that they can use at home themselves in between sessions.

I offer telephone or e-mail support between sessions.

All potential clients can have an initial  free telephone consultation in order for us both to be happy with the next step forward. I tailor my approach to suit each individual client and use tools from the fields of hypnotherapy, counselling, mindfulness  and CBT.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have  a degree in Psychology, a post graduate Diploma in Careers Counselling, both through Strathclyde University and the Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Hypnosis from the London College of Hypnosis in conjunction with the University of West London.

I have lectured in the above areas and been involved in student supervision.


I am a fully qualified KG Hypnobirthing Teacher, which is accredited by the Royal College of Midwives.

The British Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH) is a national professional body whose aim is to promote and assure high standards in the practice of hypnotherapy.

There are various types of membership of BSCH, including associate members, full members, diplomats and fellows.

Registration demands good quality training, ethical practice and adherence to a code of conduct.

CNHC
Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)

The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.

In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.

A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
