About me

Helping busy minds discover Calm Thought is at the heart of my work.

I work with people experiencing anxiety, stress, overthinking and sleep difficulties, as well as a range of other challenges including health anxiety, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), phobias, low confidence and unwanted habits such as smoking or vaping.

Many of my clients have spent months—or even years—trying to cope on their own. They often appear calm and capable on the outside while privately struggling to switch off, sleep well, manage persistent worry or experience a genuine sense of calm.

You don't need to know exactly what's wrong before seeking support. My role is to help you understand how stress affects the brain and nervous system, making positive change feel both achievable and sustainable.

My approach combines Solution Focused Hypnotherapy with an understanding of modern neuroscience. Rather than dwelling on the past, we focus on where you are now, where you want to be, and the practical steps that help you move forward. Together, we'll strengthen the thoughts, behaviours and habits that support emotional wellbeing, resilience and lasting change.

Sessions are collaborative, supportive and tailored to your individual goals. Alongside hypnosis, you'll gain a practical understanding of how your mind responds to stress and learn strategies that help you feel calmer, think more clearly and respond to life's challenges with greater confidence.

Whether your goal is to reduce anxiety, improve your sleep, stop smoking, overcome a phobia, build confidence, manage stress-related IBS or simply feel more like yourself again, every session is designed around your individual needs and the outcomes that matter most to you.

I offer appointments in person in Peterborough and online throughout the UK.

My aim is simple: to help busy minds discover Calm Thought.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH) and trained with Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training (CPHT), one of the UK's leading hypnotherapy training organisations.

Before establishing Calm Thought, I spent more than 30 years working in leadership, coaching and people development roles within both national and global organisations. Supporting people through change, managing pressure and developing confidence has been a consistent thread throughout my career.

Today I combine that experience with evidence-based hypnotherapy to provide a calm, practical and supportive approach that helps clients develop lasting emotional wellbeing and resilience.
