DSFH, NCH,

About me

Welcome to Duality Hypnotherapy
I'm Kelly Mullany, DSFH, a Clinical Solution Focused Hypnotherapist based in Edinburgh. I work with clients both in person and online, location is never an issue.

I support people who are feeling overwhelmed, whether that’s from low mood, anxiety, anger, IBS, fears and phobias, addictions (including nicotine, substances & food), confidence issues, or performance struggles, and many more of lifes challanges

How I Work
My approach is modern, gentle, and evidence-based. It blends Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), neuroscience, and clinical hypnosis (trance work).

Rather than revisiting the past, we focus on where you are now and what will help you move forward. Together, we build resilience, foster clarity, and create empowering habits that last.

This work is powerful. Not through force, but through real, internal shifts. It’s about release, reconnection, and lasting change.

A Safe Space for Soulful Transformation
At the heart of my practice is the creation of a safe, sacred space. A place to slow down, exhale, and be honest with yourself. I meet you exactly where you are and walk alongside you as you make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface.

I believe real life is duality. Light and dark, clarity and confusion, growth and stillness. Healing happens when we allow space for it all.

Information about health conditions (*)

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

Past Life Regression
Curious about what lies beneath the surface?

Past Life Regression is a deeply relaxing form of hypnosis that invites you to explore the subconscious mind through imagery, emotions, sensations and inner experience.

You don't need to hold a particular belief about past lives to explore it. Some people experience regression as something spiritual, while others view it as symbolic, psychological, or simply an exploration of the imagination. There is no right or wrong way to experience it.

My approach is grounded in curiosity, openness and without expectation. I won't tell you what your experience means or ask you to believe in a particular interpretation. Instead, I'll create a calm, supportive space for you to explore whatever arises and discover what, if anything, feels meaningful to you.

People may be drawn to Past Life Regression to explore:

Recurring patterns, emotions or fears
Relationships or connections that feel significant
Recurring dreams, imagery or sensations
Questions around identity, purpose or direction
A desire to understand themselves from a different perspective
Simple curiosity about what their subconscious might reveal
Sometimes an experience can offer a completely new perspective. Sometimes it may simply leave you with something interesting to reflect upon. And sometimes, very little may arise at all — there is nothing to force.

For me, Past Life Regression isn't about proving whether an experience is a literal past life. It's about creating the opportunity to become curious about what your subconscious mind may bring forward when the conscious mind becomes quieter.

You don't need to know exactly what you're looking for.

You can simply arrive with an open mind, a little curiosity, and see where the journey takes you.

Further information

Helping and supporting people is a core part of who I am. I have always been drawn to spaces where people feel vulnerable and ready for change, I hold a sacred and peaceful space to allow this to happen. I do this with warmth, respect and genuine care.

Outside of sessions, I find peace in nature, especially in the north of Scotland. I love gardening, long walks with my dog, honest conversations and dark moody interiors.

Cold water swimming is another passion of mine, it makes me feel alive and aligned in a way that nothing else does.
