Are you wondering if some Hypnotherapy or Counselling could help you?....
Read a little further and maybe it will help you to decide!.......
A Little About Me...
allow me to introduce myself.....
I'm Jacquie - I have an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Hypno-Psychotherapy and Counselling.
I have a background in Health and Fitness, having worked as a Fitness Instructor and studied Nutrition. I believe this gives me a unique insight into Weight Management and Body Image issues, as I look at them from the perspective of both Body(Physical) and Mind (Mental).
My interest in Hypnotherapy began when I visited a Hypnotherapist myself 'back in the day', for help to combat a fear of flying, which had increased dramatically after 9/11.
This lady managed to achieve the impossible as far as I was concerned - she not only helped me to get on an aeroplane, but also to actually enjoy the flight and look forward to it as a part of my holiday! I went from being initially sceptical to a total Believer. I decided to re-train as a Hypnotherapist and Counsellor and to make this my career
Several years on, I have never regretted my decision. It is so rewarding working with clients and seeing them change and blossom; doing things they never believed possible for them, and becoming the people they always wanted to be.
Hypnotherapy has helped many of my clients make major life changes and to achieve fantastic results and I have had the honour and the pleasure of helping them on this momentous journey.
Whatever your particular problem, I firmly believe there is a solution and would love the opportunity to work with you to find it.
A Little About Hypnotherapy
you might already have an idea about what Hypnosis is like. Many people are worried that to be hypnotised means that they have no control over their actions or what they say.
These ideas come from 'stage hypnosis', where the subjects are often the most suggestible to hypnosis, volunteers and sometimes 'plants' for entertainment purposes. That is not how Hypnotherapy works.
Hypnotherapy is very different. You are always aware of what you do and say and, if you are uncomfortable with any aspect, you can stop it at any time. Your subconscious is not capable of taking you anywhere you do not wish to go.
As your Hypnotherapist, I am here to help YOU. As my valued and respected client, you come first at all times. Hypnotherapy is totally client-led, which means you have control over how you wish the process to be.
Although you may not think so, you are already familiar with the Trance-state; when you are sleeping, you are in a deep trance. When you go on a long car journey, you are in a light trance-state. When you don't remember locking the front door or locking your car when you left it (and go back to check and find that you have!) it is because you did these things on 'autopilot', whilst in a light trance.
Hypnotherapy just utilises this basic ability, which we all have, to enable the client to go into a deliberate trance for a better awareness of what is behind their unwanted habits or actions; what is stopping them from being where they want to be; and to help facilitate progress towards their goals.
Hypnotherapy is a very gentle, natural process, like a long session of Relaxation, and most clients find it extremely pleasurable.
I hope that this has gone a little way to alleviate any natural concerns. If you would like to contact me, I offer a free initial half-hour consultation session.
Endorsement for 'Great Minds;
"Thank you for all the help you gave me"..... I coped well....I coped with the turbulence. In general I feel calmer and take frequent opportunities to apply the skills you have taught me.Thanks again,
"for years and years my weight has 'yo-yoed', and I wanted to get to the root of the problem.
I knew Jacquie was a Hypnotherapist/Counsellor and thought she could be the one to help me.
At our initial meeting, Jacquie made me feel very comfortable. I knew I would be able to 'open up' and face those 'dark' places that I had bottled up for years.
I was made aware that the results would not happen in an instant; my journey from dark to light has taken several months.
When I first saw Jacquie I had very low self esteem and now, well, I am an INDEPENDENT, HAPPY, CONFIDENT person, that is daily learning new things about the person who has been hidden away for so long."
Thank you for all your help and guidance,
I have visited with Jacquie on a number of occasions and have had Hypnotherapy, Past Life Regression and Counselling. The Counselling enabled me to understand why I was using cigarettes and alcohol to 'squash down' my feelings......around relationships with others.
Smoking created a 'smoke-screen' for me to hide behind., so I couldn't see my issues or why they had occurred.
Hypnotherapy and Past Life regression enabled me to have access to experiences which occurred during childhood (and before childhood) which were holding me back from achieving my full potential as an adult.
Since receiving Therapy from Jacquie, I have experienced a great number of positive changes in my life and my self esteem and confidence have evolved massively. Jacquie creates an atmosphere of complete calm and peace in her therapy space and as her client, I felt rejuvenated by her presence and that I was in a completely non-judgemental space. I could tell her anything without fear or worry. I would highly recommend this lady to anyone wishing to change their life for the better.
'I started seeing Jacquie just over a year ago and I can honestly say that I would not be where I am now without her help and guidance.
Jacquie is very easy to talk to and provides a safe, friendly and professional environment which is perfect to explore and talk about any issues. Each session is client-led and completely non-judgemental.'
'I just wanted to say thank you and that I flew a very happy and confident person and am already looking at booking and going again!
I had an amazing time and couldn't be happier!
.....'Got through take off no problem.........I felt much more in control and able to deal with how I was feeling'
....I had only just unwrapped my boiled sweet ready for landing when we touched down!'
Thank you so much
