About me
Hello, I’m Gemma Stone, a fully qualified Solution Focused Hypnotherapist with a background as a police detective. I specialise in helping people make positive, lasting changes by focusing on solutions, strengths, and what’s working, rather than dwelling on the past.
I know first-hand how challenging life’s pressures can be. Whether it’s stress, anxiety, low confidence, or navigating major life transitions such as menopause, I work with clients to calm the mind, reduce overwhelm, and build resilience. My approach is supportive, practical, and evidence-based, always tailored to your individual needs.
How I work
Sessions are relaxed and future-focused. We’ll look at how the brain works, why we sometimes feel stuck in unhelpful patterns, and how we can re-train the mind towards healthier, calmer ways of thinking. Using gentle hypnotherapy and practical tools, I’ll help you unlock your inner resources so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.
I offer online hypnotherapy, giving you that help in a space where you feel safe and secure.
Areas I can help with:
- Stress, anxiety, and burnout
- Confidence and self-esteem
- Sleep issues
- Phobias and fears
- Menopause support
- Low mood
- Building resilience and motivation
Why choose me?
With over 15 years’ supporting people through high-pressure situations that they experience, I bring a calm, grounded, and empathetic approach to my work. I’m committed to ongoing professional development to ensure I’m always up to date with the latest research and techniques. Most importantly, I genuinely care about helping you create the positive changes you want in your life.
If you’d like to take that first step towards change, I’d love to hear from you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I’m Gemma Stone, a Clinical Solution Focused Hypnotherapist with a passion for helping people create lasting, positive change in their lives. My approach is modern, evidence-based, and rooted in neuroscience, giving you practical tools as well as a safe, supportive space to move forward.
One of my greatest passions is supporting women with their hormonal health. From the challenges of perimenopause and menopause to the impact of hormonal fluctuations on mood, sleep, and wellbeing, I provide a calm and understanding space where women can feel heard, supported, and empowered.
Before retraining as a hypnotherapist, I spent 15 years as a Police Detective. That career gave me deep experience in communication, resilience, and supporting people through difficult circumstances. It also taught me the importance of compassion, confidentiality, and trust — values that are central to the way I work with my clients today.
Training & Professional Standards
- Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH)
- Registered with [AfSFH/NCH or relevant body] and fully insured
- Committed to regular CPD (Continuing Professional Development) to ensure my knowledge and skills remain at the cutting edge
How I Work
I specialise in helping clients with anxiety, stress, confidence, sleep issues, habits, and the emotional challenges linked to hormonal health and life transitions. Sessions are focused on what you want to achieve, rather than revisiting the past, so you can begin making changes from the very first appointment.
I believe therapy should feel empowering, uplifting, and solution-focused. Together, we’ll use practical strategies and the latest research in neuroscience to help you build the life you want - one small step at a time.
