Ed Newbrook (Dip Hyp CS)
I help clients make positive changes to their life, be it losing weight, quitting smoking or overcoming deep-rooted anxiety.
My sessions are very relaxing and clients leave rejuvenated and positive. I operate from premises in a peaceful rural setting which helps clients switch off from the stresses of everyday life.
Why choose hypnotherapy?
The great thing about hypnotherapy is that it can be effective for such a wide range of areas. In one day I could be supporting a client with insomnia, helping a young person overcome driving test nerves or working with someone who has a fear of flying. When a client has achieved their objective it is truly rewarding.
What happens in the initial consultation?
Seeking professional help to achieve a goal or overcome an issue can seem daunting, so the first thing I do is establish a rapport so that you feel comfortable and relaxed with me as your therapist. I like to meet people before starting a treatment.
The initial consultation is completely free. After the consultation, I personalise a script tailored to your needs.
The therapy sessions
During the therapy, you should feel completely relaxed and comfortable. The lighting is dimmed and, if you wish, you can have gentle music on.
Alternatively, if you are most relaxed in your own home environment then I am happy to come to you.
I have answered some frequently asked questions, which you can see on my website here.

Testimonials from previous clients:
Ed is someone who is very friendly and warming...without doubt I was in need of his services, so after a few sessions I noticed a marked change in my mental strength...and this was attributed to his kind intervention and his ability to understand my predicament and his tailored therapy that had quite simply cast away the doldrums that was shackling my existence, now I'm totally focused. Thanks Ed

Ed, I just wanted to thank you for your help with my young son who overcame his fears of needles and injections. We came to Ed in the hope that he could cure his fears and to make his time in hospital less stressful. Before your sessions he was not even able to tolerate hearing about needles let alone being able to get close to him to give him an injection but, after just four sessions, he went into hospital and the transformation was incredible and I know how much he actually enjoyed his relaxing sessions at your house. I can't thank you enough and would not hesitate to recommend him to others. Thank you Ed.

I have been seeing Ed for the last two years for my fear of flying and chocolate addictions and on both occasions, he has helped me to really get into a good place. I've now no phobia about flying and have stopped my addiction to chocolate completely. Thanks Ed...you have been a great help. Highly recommended.

With Ed’s soothing, gentle voice speaking targeted words of relaxation into my subconscious he has helped me enormously with my insomnia. Ed also helped me with my weight loss – 9lbs and still going strong!
