About me

About me

I’m a Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist and Relationship Consultant helping clients manage stress, anxiety, grief, and relationship change with clarity and confidence. My approach blends Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, clinical hypnosis, and coaching psychology to create lasting emotional change, often within 4–8 sessions.

Who I work with

I specialise in relationships and life transitions and support adults navigating grief and bereavement, divorce and separation, relationship difficulties, stress, anxiety, burnout, and wider life transitions (identity, career or health changes).

Many clients seek calm, confidence and clarity when life feels uncertain or emotionally intense. Together we work to reduce overwhelm, understand patterns of thought and behaviour, and create simple, repeatable strategies for daily life.

How I work

My style is warm, collaborative and focused on outcomes. Sessions blend CBT, clinical hypnosis and gentle coaching helping you move from overwhelm to calm and from self-doubt to self-trust. Together, we’ll build strategies for emotional resilience and renewed focus.

With a background in law and relationship coaching, I understand the realities of loss and transition and how personal and professional pressures intertwine and how difficult it can be to find balance..

My work is compassionate, practical and time-limited and focused on measurable progress.. You will learn tools you can keep using to create calm, clarity and lasting change.

To work with me

I offer session in London & online, with some evening availability.  You can reach me by either sending me a message through this site or contacting me through my website at the top of this profile.

I look forward to supporting you.

The General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR)

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC). Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level. All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

Client Testimonials

'Celia has a gift for creating trust and rapport with ease and confidence. Her use of both questions, simply and clearly constructed, and silence allow for challenge and reflection without judgement.

Allied to this is Celia’s strength in pinpointing, with the client, achievable goals that neither overwhelm or under challenge.

From session to session, I felt that Celia was honouring my story and my needs and bringing to each encounter a tailored tool set to allow both for progress and change.' Anne, London

‘Celia established the therapy relationship with a caring attitude creating trust and rapport. She is a very effective communicator. She listens and asks questions that challenged me but raised insight. For example, she was able to adjust the wording of my positive mantra as she realised the words “more focused” could trigger me since I have ADHD-inattentive and most problems in my life are about lack of focus. She helped me create an action plan towards realistic goal achievement: She constantly evaluated progress during sessions and was very positive about the progress that I made.’ Guilia, London

'Celia has been very engaged and creative throughout the sessions. She exudes a sense of care and professionalism in equal measure while still focussing on the needs I bring to the session. She helped me with sleep restoration, worry about divorce, girlfriend dilemmas, and more, by using scripts that she deftly adapted on the fly to my specific situation. I have received hypnotherapy before this and I can safely say that Celia is already on a par with practicing professionals. I trusted her, she held good rapport, she made clear goals and was very empathetic in her listening, giving me time and space to express myself even when I was struggling to put my finger on what I meant. She made a clear plan of progress after each session, e.g. I always knew another session was in the pipeline and what Celia’s availability was.' Conor, Sussex
