About me
I'm Candy Squire-Watt, I am a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and Coach, and I’d really like to help you to feel better.
I have always had an interest in people and how to support people who are experiencing challenges. After studying Psychology at University, I went on to work with clients through a 20-year career in the voluntary and community sector, supporting unpaid carers and people living with Mental Health issues.
I help people overcome their emotional and physical challenges using a combination of talking therapy and hypnosis to help them refocus and regain control of their emotions and their lives, supporting them to overcome conditions such as anxiety, depression and insomnia, IBS, OCD and weight management as well as overcoming negative habits and phobias. I have a particular interest in helping clients deal with work-related stress and long-term conditions, such as Parkinsons' Disease.
I use my skills (and neuroscience) to help you get your life back to the way you want it to be, calmly, quickly and with ease.
I hold a Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy from the Solution Focused Training Academy and am also a qualified and experienced coach, with a Coaching Diploma from Newcastle College. I am based in Skipton and Silsden and also see clients on zoom.

Member organisations
Each member of APHP has received thorough training in hypnosis and hypnotherapy, is competent and conscientious, and abides strictly by a code of ethics.
There are four grades of membership: Licentiate (LAPHP), Registered Member (MAPHP), Accredited Member (MAPHP(acc.)) and Fellow (FAPHP), with the different categories standing for different levels of training and experience.
The Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy is a member organisation of UKCHO (an umbrella body for the hypnotherapy profession in the United Kingdom).
