About me

Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. I have over 16 years of experience as a Psychotherapist and Counsellor as well as being a Certified Hypnotherapist and have worked successfully with a very wide range of issues over the years. Hypnotherapy is a very safe and natural process that can have powerful, positive and transformative results is a surprisingly short period of time if the client is motivated and invested in the positive change.

I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist trained by world renowned Hypnotherapist Marisa Peer in Rapid Transformational Therapy. I am also a UKCP accredited and BACP registered Psychotherapist.

I believe my many years of experience as a Psychotherapist complement and enhance my work as a Hypnotherapist and Rapid Transformational Therapist.

RTT embraces many of the positive aspects of hypnotherapy including trance, regression and hypnotic conditioning. It also uses a technique called role, function, purpose to honour and value the significance clients attach to their issues and then offers a powerful emotional release from them.RTT draws out the underlying issues driving the behaviour. The client is involved with the therapist is uncovering the meaning and interpretation of past events and then changing them. This can lead to powerful positive change.

My approach is collaborative, practical and solution focused. I offer my clients empathy and respect , valuing their uniqueness as an individual, without judgement. I adhere to very strict codes of conduct and guarantee all my clients the utmost respect and privacy, including those with a high public profile.

My aim is to offer a very comprehensive service that includes a free initial telephone consultation as well as the option of a free relaxation recording for clients who may have anxiety about the process to reassure them and get them accustomed to my voice before the main session. I also offer many additional tips and strategies that support the process, when appropriate.

I am often told by clients that I have a gentle and reassuring voice and approach and that the care with which I work makes them feel safe and reassured when working with me.

”Amanda’s voice is very kind, reassuring and calming, one feels a great sense of care when she is treating you. I highly recommend her and believe me I was a hard nut to crack!”.
