Becoming GDPR compliant
Becoming GDPR compliant - a course for therapists.
Each delegate will receive handouts, a certificate of attendance and will produce their own action plan to take away.
The EU’s, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will apply from 25 May 2018, when it supersedes the UK Data Protection Act 1998. Significant and wide-reaching in scope, the new law brings a 21st century approach to data protection. It expands the rights of individuals to control how their personal information is collected and processed, and places a range of new obligations on organisations to be more accountable for data protection including information held on laptops/phones/tablets.
This course specially designed with therapists in mind demystifies the new rules and gives you clear guidelines as to your responsibilities in your business; there will be plenty of time at the end of the course to ask questions and you will leave with a clear action plan for your business.
