About me
Hi I'm Suzy, a registered Clinical Hypnotherapist and Postnatal Practitioner. If you are going through a difficult time right now, I would like to help you gain the control and confidence to make positive changes and move forward.
Hypnotherapy is a wonderful and hugely effective way to help people identify and alter beliefs that are no longer useful for them, access their own positive inner resources and gain a deeper understanding of themselves.
I am passionate about empowering my clients so that they feel excited for the future and more confident that they can navigate life's ups and downs. This is why I like to give my clients practical tools and techniques that they can use after our therapy sessions have finished.
Some of the issues that I can help with are anxiety, panic attacks, depression, low self worth, phobias, IBS and habit breaking. As a certified postnatal practitioner I am also additionally trained to work with clients during the postnatal period, which can be emotionally challenging for many women.
I am an integrative therapist meaning that I draw on different theories and techniques applicable to each personal case. These include ; Suggestion Hypnotherapy, Regression, Hypno-analysis, CBT, Solution focused hypnotherapy, Inner child work.

The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.
In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.
A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
