Rebecca Edmonds - DSFH DHP AfSFH NCH
I am a clinical hypnotherapist with clinics in HEREFORD & MALVERN.
I offer a full range of therapeutic services to clients of all ages. If you look on my website (redmondshypnotherapy.co.uk), my Google Business Page (Rebecca Edmonds Hypnotherapy in both Hereford & Malvern) and my Facebook Page (Redmonds Hypnotherapy), you will see that I come highly recommended. You can be confident that I provide a professional service.
I use solution focused hypnotherapy in conjunction other techniques from the disciplines of psychotherapy, mindfulness, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and neuro linguistic programming (NLP). As every client is unique and individual, I ensure that each session is tailored specifically for you and your needs to help you overcome the challenges you are currently facing and help you achieve your goals.
I became a hypnotherapist after I was diagnosed with early onset arthritis. As a consequence, I started to research therapies that would help with pain levels and mood. Having seen how hypnotherapy helped me, I also discovered that there was a very wide range of health and personal issues where hypnotherapy can be of assistance. I was so impressed that I decided to train myself and pass on the benefits to others.
Hypnotherapy is different from other psychological type therapies because it does not dwell on the past. It is about moving forward in the here and now. It offers a unique approach to overcoming obstacles and making permanent, sustainable changes. It uses visualisation techniques to enable you to focus on what you really want to achieve and move forward in a constructive way. It isn’t magic, but it does make the process of making change much easier by improving your motivation and getting you in the right mind-set.
People often ask the question "Is hypnotherapy safe?". Whether you realise it or not, you naturally go into "trance" many times a day already and hypnotherapy simply replicates that experience. It is therefore a perfectly safe and natural technique. You will remain conscious and in full control. It provides a very relaxing and enjoyable way to engage the subconscious brain, enabling you to make positive changes that you have been unable to do with your conscious mind.
Hypnotherapy can help with a great many conditions, particularly those exacerbated by stress. Some of the more common areas are shown below, but this list is by no means exhaustive, so please contact me for more information if there is something else you would like to work on.

"As a client of Rebecca’s for the last few months I was honoured and felt privileged when she asked me to write a testimonial for her hypnotherapy work. I worked in the NHS for 40 years and never really conquered the stress of the profession, so much so, that even having retired for 7 years I still had flash backs in dreams about events of 30 years ago. These are now subsiding and I am sleeping much more soundly. I was, I admit, sceptical initially but this has been overcome by a person with the most delightful speaking voice and who is also a very wise person. Rebecca is my heroine, I delight in her company and thank her profoundly for what she has already achieved in my situation." John, Hereford
"Rebecca, I would like to thank you for helping me to cope with the anxiety and emotional stress I’ve been experiencing. I have found my hypnotherapy sessions with you to be very beneficial." Bridget, Hereford
