About me

Looking for support can feel daunting, especially if you’re not sure where to begin. Many people come to therapy knowing something needs to change, but feeling uncertain about how to get there. You don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

I offer Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH), which brings together two well-established approaches: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and hypnotherapy. This means we look at how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours influence one another, while also using hypnosis techniques to help you relax, focus, and make positive shifts. It’s a practical, evidence-based approach designed to support real and lasting change.

More than anything, I want therapy to feel like a safe and supportive space for you. I know what it’s like when challenges start to feel bigger than you, or when they get in the way of living the life you want. My role is to listen without judgement, to work alongside you, and to help you find the tools and confidence to move forward.

If you’d like to explore how CBH could help with the challenges you’re facing, I’d be glad to meet you.

Recent Testimonials

“Rebecca made me feel at ease from the very beginning – she was welcoming, calm and friendly. I genuinely feel these sessions have helped me organise my thoughts and I have come away with strategies I can use to tackle anxiety. I enjoyed these sessions and would recommend them to others”

"Rebecca was a great listener and communicated in a way that made me feel truly heard and understood. She helped me gain valuable insight into my social anxiety and gave me some coping strategies that I'm now using on a daily basis.
Her techniques genuinely helped shift how I think about myself and how I believe others perceive me. I now feel less stressed in social situations which is a big change for me”

“Rebecca made me feel at ease and I found myself trusting her implicitly with information. The communication was excellent and she asked all the right questions which enabled me to get to the root of my issues. I feel so much lighter and armed with the tools she gave me to combat situations I may find myself in have really worked for me.  I went in sceptical as I honestly couldn’t see anyone helping me to change my thought patterns but she has"

The General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR)

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC). Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level. All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
