About me

As a cognitive behavioural hypnotherapist, it's my goal to help you live a fuller life, free from anxiety, stress and unhelpful habits. Whether you prefer online or face-to-face sessions on the Wirral, I'm here to support you every step of the way.

As a mum and business owner, I've experienced anxiety, burnout and overwhelm, and know all too well the juggle involved in trying to keep on top of it all. Some days I felt like I was trying so hard but failing at everything, but the tools and techniques I've gained though Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy have helped me to finally thrive, rather than simply survive.

Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy combines the principles of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) with hypnosis techniques to help bring about positive changes in your thoughts, feelings and actions. This therapeutic approach aims to help you identify and challenge negative thought patterns and beliefs while in a relaxed state induced by hypnosis.

I offer friendly, relaxed sessions in my home therapy room in Claughton, Wirral and also online via Zoom, Google Meet or WhatsApp.

The General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR)

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).

Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.

All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
