About me

I have been seeing clients online for sometime and in light of the current COVID-19 situation will continue to do so; ensuring our health and safety.

Although I am not using my office, I am seeing clients face to face with social distance walks in the beautiful surrounding Windsor Great Park.

I use a secure online method which is GDPR and HIPAA compliant. (please see below for meanings).

I am a Cognitive Hypnotherapist, Project You Life Coach and a Master NLP Practitioner, trained by the Quest Institute (see evidence based research below) practising in line with the standards and code of ethics of the National Council of Hypnotherapy.

What does this mean ? I don't use generic scripts.

I work with you as an individual;  Everyone is unique.

Whatever you feel is holding you back, keeping you stuck or preventing you from moving on we will work on this together.

Our sessions will begin with a discussion to find out what it is that you would like to resolve and what you would like your outcome to be. We then focus on an individual programme tailored to you.

I have worked with teenagers and adults on a wide range of issues; anxiety, low mood, stress reduction, confidence, preparedness for exams - encompassing revision, learning styles and executive functioning skills, suicide ideation as well as life stage changes amongst many others.

I continually attend training to either update or widen my knowledge - as I find the more you know, the less you know !

Within the last four years I have also focused on suicide alertness becoming a safeTALK trainer licenced by Livingworks a global leader in suicide prevention training solutions.

I have run training courses with up to 30 attendees for charities, private businesses and a local council.

Please take a look at the short video below which explains my approach and training.

Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

Information about health conditions (*)

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

safeTALK -

a half day alertness training for groups of 10 people or more that prepares anyone 15 or older, regardless of prior experience or training, to become a suicide-alert helper.

Cognitive Hypnotherapy Research

Mental Health Review Journal 2015 20:3 , 199-210

Over the last few years, a group of Quest Trained Cognitive Hypnotherapists and their clients have taken part in a research project.

As a result, in the September 2015 issue of the Mental Health Review Journal, a peer-reviewed article comparing Quest Cognitive Hypnotherapy with national results for the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) programme suggested that…

QCH may offer a brief effective treatment for clients with clinically significant levels of anxiety and/or depression, widening client choice
This is a wonderful and unique achievement demonstrating the robustness of QCH as a therapy model.

In an average of six sessions, 71% reported themselves recovered, compared to 42% of people using other IAPT therapies.

Therapies offered

  • Cognitive hypnotherapy
  • Past life regression
  • Time Line Therapy™

If a hypnotherapist's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the hypnotherapist to discuss the options available.
