About me

I am Keith Whiteford, I am an experienced hypnotherapist and counsellor. I offer various therapeutic approaches dependent on clients needs and can help with a wide range of issues. My practice is based  in the centre of St Albans so is easily accessible to all.

Hypnotherapy uses hypnosis to relieve physiological symptoms, change behaviours, and thought patterns, deliver positive suggestions directly to the subconscious and tap into your unknown resources to enhance existing talents and uncover new potentials.

As a Clinical Hypnotherapist I will initially spend time with you discussing what you would like help with and you will be asked further questions regarding your lifestyle, medical history and any other relevant information in order to build a ‘case history'. This will then form the basis of a treatment plan that is devised and agreed by you. It is important that you are involved in this process so that you feel comfortable with how the therapy is going to proceed. I will also teach you tools to take away, which will allow you to take control of your emotional and physical well-being.

The suggestions to your subconscious mind and techniques used will be devised according to your needs, goals, and history and follow a moral and ethical framework to promote positive enhancements.

Hypnotherapy works fast and can be powerful because it bypasses the conscious mind that often sabotages or blocks positive, effective change in our life.
