About me

I’m Kay, a Therapist based in Heaton, Newcastle upon Tyne. I work with adults, children and young people, offering structured, outcome-focused therapy to support performance, habits, sleep and confidence.

My approach is calm, practical and evidence-informed. Sessions are tailored to you and focused on helping you move forward, not just talk things through.

I support clients with:

  • Performance and focus (work, sport, exams)
  • Habits and behaviour change (including smoking, procrastination and avoidance)
  • Sleep difficulties and an overactive mind
  • Confidence and self-belief

Sessions are designed to create meaningful change while also giving you simple tools, including self-regulation and self-hypnosis techniques, that you can use independently.

Children & Young People

I also work with children and young people, using a calm, structured and developmentally appropriate approach. Sessions may include creative and play-informed techniques to support emotional regulation, confidence and expression.

How I Work

My work is integrative and may draw on clinical hypnotherapy, CBT-informed strategies, performance psychology and nervous system regulation. Alongside therapy, I also offer wellbeing sessions focused on rest, reset and recovery.

Where appropriate, I can also signpost to additional wellbeing insights to support a broader understanding of sleep, stress and overall health.
