About me
My name is Julie Phillips. Ten years ago, I left my full time teaching job and Head of Department role to retrain as a clinical hypnotherapist and coach.
My specialist areas are stress, anxiety, trauma (including post traumatic stress) and chronic pain. I also work with clients who have issues due to irritable Bowel Symptoms as I have personal experience of this and was diagnosed myself after a period of stress.
Hypnotherapy does not require you to give a lot of information. I work with your unconscious mind in a relaxed way to quickly reduce stress, anxiety and trauma related issues. I also have a personalised program to support reduction of IBS symptoms. Hypnotherapy helped me to rebalance my life and improve my mental and physical health - I am passionate about helping you do the same.
My sessions will help you reduce stress, improve your sleep, instantly reduce panic symptoms, and teach you strategies to reduce negative thought patterns quickly and effectively. I can also help with mental health issues that have been made worse due to Covid 19 (Covid Anxiety Syndrome).
Sometimes, we just need some time and space with another professional to work through things quietly and sort out life issues - it doesn't have to be hard and it doesn't have to take forever.
Here are some reasons why clients choose to work with me:
· I understand how to support people to reduce stress quickly.
· I understand how to help people reduce and manage anxiety symptoms.
· I can help people improve their quality and quantity of sleep.
· I can help you reduce painful symptoms of IBS.
* I also help with chronic pain symptoms where clients have been medically examined and told that they just have to 'live with ' and manage the pain.
· I provide a professional, friendly and confidential service.
· I offer a free phone consultation at a time to suit you before booking.
I also provide hypnotherapy audio recordings and help sheets so you can recreate the strategies you have learned after your session.
