Eva Garcia Muñoz. Spanish and English Hypnotherapy.
As a fully qualified clinical psychologist I was always curious about hypnosis however it was not until I got pregnant with twins and I used hypnosis to overcome my fears and lose weight, that I started to use hypnosis to help other people with their different needs.
I have been living in the London for 10 years now; born in Barcelona, lived in Greece, Italy and Australia for a few years. I have an international background that helps me to understand the cultural differences between my international clients.
Trained by John Butler and Sharon Young two of the most recognised Hypnotherapists in the UK, whilst following the teachings of Gil Boyne, master of the art of Hypnosis in the USA, my approach is very practical and focused on what is really causing the disruption.
I don't believe in prolonged treatments that could lead to overcharging clients. If after few sessions a really motivated client does not improve then I stop the treatment. Hypnosis does not work by itself, YOU make hyponosis work for your needs!!
Hypnosis must be short and efficient, that is why Hypnotherapy is different from other treatments. I believe we have the power to change our lives but sometimes we need help or guidance and that is what Hypnosis is going to do for you. Hypnosis can help you to stop smoking, lose weight or overcome your fears but at the end of the day you are the one that has the power to change and learn a new and lasting lifestyle.

Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council
The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.
In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.
A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
The General Hypnotherapy Register
Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).
Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.
All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
Accredited register membership
Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with
Information about health conditions (*)
Nutritional therapy can help enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting nutritional therapy or making any major changes to your diet or lifestyle.
Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with
I do work with
- Pregnancy issues
- Post natal depression
- Skin disorders
- Exam and interview nerves
- Driving fears
- Relaxation techniques
- Divorce anxiety
- Confidence building
I am a certified HypnoBirthing practitioner, following the Mongan method running group courses in central London.
I offer a FREE initial consultation over the phone. This will allow me to gather information of what your situation is and for you is an opportunity to feel confident so we can work together and achieve your goals.
I do not charge by hour, I charge by the session. The initial session will normally last 2 hours and the next session approximately and hour and half.
Initial session £70
Follow up session £60
I also give a personalised recording to my clients to listen to everyday. It is very important to listen to it so you can start learning how to take the maximum benefits from the sessions. We need to change old negative patterns that are established in our subconscious mind and the recording is very important for this.
Some of my clients testimonials,
"When I first met Eva I felt very relaxed and calm, she is very approachable and professional. After being a housewife for many years I felt terrified by the thought of starting to look for a job again. Eva helped me to work on my low self-esteem, so I was able to feel confident again and the result was I ended up getting a job as a Sales assistant."
"I have been working in the Finance industry and promoted several times, my time came to jump to Manager Director for a prestigious Investment Bank. However this promotion included several intense interviews with very senior professionals. In reality I had not been interviewed in almost 10 years so I thought to use hypnosis to help me focus. Thanks to Eva and her professional techniques I was able to conduct a confident interview which helped me land the promotion."
"10 years with a person that was cheating on me had created a non healthy dependent relationship in addition to an extreme anxiety. Eva helped me to understand what was really causing the anxiety and nowadays I have moved on and have a new partner. Thank you Eva for your human and down to earth approach when dealing with complex relationships like mine".
"For many years I was addicted to food and I was just about to accept that I would always be. I tried other hypnotherapists before but I was not able to stop overeating for too long. Eva using regression made me go back in the past and see why I was doing so much harm to myself..I have not had any craving episode since I started working with Eva. She is very professional and at the same time friendly and I feel very comfortable in her sessions. Tks Eva!".
"I was pregnant for first time and I had my placenta obstructing the way out of the baby and the idea of having a C-section was not in my plans. So I thought to use hypnosis to learn relaxation techniques and control over my body. I was able to move the placenta so my baby was able to go natural. Thanks to Eva I learned to be more relaxed and confident during my pregnancy."
"I was terrified by the thought of having an Amniocentesis test and having a miscarriage but at the same time given my age I needed to be sure that my kids would be ok. I had two placentas and therefore two different tests needed to be done. I used self-hypnosis techniques for relaxation so the foetus was calm and not moving during the intervention. I cannot emphasise enough how much hypnosis helped me during my pregnancy with no complications at all and healthy and full term babies"
