About me

Are you a woman looking for support to feel more in control, more confident or more like yourself again? Perhaps anxiety is taking over, your confidence has changed, you’re living with pain or you simply know something needs to feel different.

I specialise in working with women and I don’t believe therapy should feel the same for everyone. I take time to understand what’s going on for you and tailor the work around what you need.

You might be struggling with anxiety or feeling overwhelmed, navigating menopause, living with persistent pain, trying to change an unwanted habit or feeling that somewhere along the way you’ve lost a bit of yourself.

I also work with phobias and fears, confidence and self-esteem, sleep, weight concerns, smoking and vaping, fertility and hypnobirthing, as well as other issues where thoughts, feelings or behaviours are getting in the way of how you want to live.

My aim is to help you get to a point where anxiety is no longer making the decisions for you, where you can handle situations that once felt overwhelming, feel more confident in yourself and have more freedom from the fears, habits or patterns that have been holding you back.

For clients living with persistent pain, the focus may be on changing the way pain is experienced, reducing how much it dominates everyday life and helping you feel more in control again.

Sometimes there is one clear issue you want help with. Other times you may simply know that something needs to change.

As a Clinical Hypnotherapist, I work integratively, using hypnotherapy alongside other therapeutic approaches where appropriate, including IEMT and CBT-based techniques. This allows me to draw on different ways of working depending on you rather than expecting everyone to respond to the same approach.

My focus is on helping you make changes that feel meaningful and carry through into everyday life.

Member organisations

GHR
The General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR)

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC). Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level. All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

NCH
National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH)

The National Council for Hypnotherapy holds one of the largest registers of independent Hypnotherapists in the United Kingdom and strives to maintain the highest standards among its members. There is an agreed Code of Conduct, an established Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure and all members are obliged to maintain comprehensive Public Liability & Professional Indemnity Insurance, maintain regular CPD (continuing professional development) hours, and attend Supervision when needed.

Further information

I offer face-to-face sessions from my private therapy room, as well as online sessions for those who prefer to work from home.

Most of my work is offered through tailored therapy packages. This gives us time to understand what is going on, work towards the changes you want and build on progress from one session to the next. The amount of support you need will depend on what you are coming to therapy for, and we can talk through the most suitable option before you make any commitment.

Where appropriate, I also provide personalised hypnotherapy recordings to support and reinforce the work we do between sessions.

For smoking and vaping, I offer my Breathe Easy programme. This is a focused extended session designed specifically for stopping smoking or vaping, with follow-up support if needed.

I also offer hypnobirthing and different approaches to weight-related goals, including holistic weight loss, Hypno Jab and Hypno Gastric Band.

Alongside my work with women, I also support children and young people, particularly with anxiety, confidence and school-related difficulties.

If you’re not sure whether hypnotherapy or IEMT would be right for you or your child, you’re very welcome to get in touch first and talk it through.
