Newcastle upon Tyne (near Newcastle Airport)
I work with Anxiety/Panic Attacks, Depression, Stress, Confidence/Self Esteem, Relationship issues, Weight loss, Virtual Gastric Band, Stop Smoking, Health problems ..and more. As a Registered Hypnotherapist I love helping people to bring about their desired change. I am particularly passionate about hypnotherapy as I was once a client who sought hypnotherapy and experienced first hand how powerful it can be. Since qualifying as a Hypnotherapist I cover a range of hypnotherapy services and have a particular interest in working with relationship issues; anxiety; confidence and self esteem.
How it works?
Every client is an individual and therefore, the therapy is tailored to each person's specific needs. My training as a Clinical Hypnotherapist incorporated techniques from other types of therapies and I have also gone on to study and qualify in additional therapies such as EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique/Tapping); NLP and Kinetic Shift. This means where fitting I can draw on these and include them in the sessions. It is really important to me that you feel comfortable and that we work together to help you bring about the change you want, trust is essential.
How hypnosis works?
When you relax, your conscious mind takes a back seat and the more powerful unconscious part off your mind is revealed. To get your conscious mind to relax we guide you into relaxation. Your unconscious mind has stored all of your experiences; learned behaviors; conditioned responses and they dictate your behavior now. When deeply relaxed we can connect with the unconscious mind and attempt to re-programme or re-condition specific patterns of behavior.

The General Hypnotherapy Register
Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).
Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.
All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
