Depression and hypnosis

Types of depression and common symptoms
Depression is classified into different types. The most common type is major depression, also known as clinical depression. It also helps the person to perceive situations differently, such as grief associated with the loss of a loved one.
The therapist will be able to help the person focus his or her attention on something they have chosen to ignore or not deal with. This focus is called a trance. Once a person is in this trance, their attention is guided to be aware of the memory and completely remove themselves from anything in their external surroundings.

This method is used to reveal or find a significant emotional event related to the problem. The therapist will make the person relaxed and in an intense state of concentration. The goal will be to make the person pinpoint a traumatic event that they have blocked out in their unconscious memory. Once the memory has been discovered, it will be addressed during therapy.
This is a method that encourages the person to identify certain things in their memory they have neglected, or are in denial of, through suggestion. This method helps them overcome an addiction or habit by changing perceptions.

It is important to remember that hypnosis is not a mind control medium. It is less invasive than traditional and more established practices. Hypnotherapy must be performed by a licensed or certified professional, specifically trained in hypnosis.
