Have you lost your mojo?

Have your light bulb moments disappeared? 

It is wonderful when you have light bulb moments - flashes of motivation when you are completely focused on what you are doing.

When we were children we were used to having them all the time, in fact many times a day. You only have to look at a child play and they can be completely absorbed in the toy that they are playing with. Then a friend walks in and they are running around playing something completely different, again, equally absorbed in what he or she is doing.

As adults we have to multi-task - put out the washing, walk the dog, feed the kids, do the school run and then work?! Isn’t it exhausting trying to remember everything and stay focused on what is really important?

Sometimes clearing the clutter out of your life helps, but then it’s finding the time, and so the clutter gets bigger and you become fed up with piles of stuff to do. It’s good to take time out and play.  Leave the housework and go for a walk along the beach or in the local park. Once you breathe in the lovely fresh air you will then feel inspired and motivated to sort things out when you get home.

It is the same in work. Rather than rush your lunch or work through, we feel far more energised after getting up and walking around. Going outside for even a short walk will re-energise you and help you to complete your tasks much more quickly and efficiently.
