People tend to fall into the habit of overeating, and if you can control the habit of overeating and break the pattern you can start to get the results you desire.
The main issue with habits is that, most of the time, people do not realise they are forming bad habits until it becomes a new pattern of behaviour, and often it can be more difficult to break the cycle.
Most overweight people have several habits that contribute to the issue in terms of their shape and when food is involved; it can become worse as people get into the habit of eating all the wrong foods, which are usually not nutritious and can actually cause cravings and weight gain.
How often do you find yourself eating due to the particular emotional state of mind that you are in? It is very common for people to eat when they are feeling stressed, sad, depressed, lonely, happy, bored etc and all these emotions can cause the desire to eat. These emotional states relating to overeating are often not even noticed at the time of the behaviour and it is not until people become aware of it are they able to do something about it.
